Estonia, Maryland Sign Cooperative Agreement
On August 5, Estonian Ambassador to the United States Jonatan Vseviov signed a mutual cooperative memo agreeing to continue to develop relations between Estonia and the state of Maryland.

Toyota driver, Estonian Ott Tänak, co-driven by Martin Järveoja, has won Rally Finland in Jyväskylä for the second consecutive year, extending his lead of the drivers’ championships to 22 points over Sébastian Ogier. In total, Tänak won six of the 23 stages to claim the victory.
Estonia Implements Additional Measure Against Russian Aggression in Ukraine
On August 5, the Estonian Foreign Ministry announced that effective immediately, Estonia would no longer recognize passports issued by the Russian Federation to people living in Donetsk and Lugansk oblasts after April 24, 2019, if the bearer of the passport was previously not a Russian citizen.
