President Kaljulaid at the UN General Assembly
President Kersti Kaljulaid was on a working visit to New York this week to attend the annual UN General Assembly. In addition to bilateral meetings with other heads of state and participation in various debates, the President of the Republic delivered a state address at the General Assembly on September 24. Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu was also in NY attending dozens of meetings during the opening week of the UN General Assembly.

Prime Minister Jüri Ratas spoke at the World Economic Forum’s High Level Conference on Sustainable Development in New York on the subject of global challenges and the use of digital solutions as well as the need for closer cooperation between countries and businesses in combating climate change.
