Interior Ministry Honors Members of Estonian Communities Abroad
Estonia’s Population Minister Riina Solman recognized and thanked dedicated members of Estonian exile communities on the anniversary of the Republic, including Estonian-Americans Marju Rink-Abel, Sirje Kiin and Aavo Reinfeldt and Sirle Sööt of Sweden, who headed ESTO 2019. Decorations will be presented on April 28th at the Estonian National Museum, where representatives of exile communities will gather for the Conference of Compatriots.

Stiff Competition for Directors and Themes of Next Youth Song and Dance Celebration
A total of 19 entries were received for the directors’ and theme conception competitions for the next, 13th Youth Song and Dance Celebrations taking place in Tallinn on July 1-3, 2022. There were 9 applicants for artistic director of the Dance Celebration and 11 entries for the position of chief conductor of the Song Celebration, which is the highest number of applicants ever.
