Each youth exchange brings together 30 young people aged 18-30 of Estonian origin; 20 living abroad and 10 from Estonia. This year’s camp dates are 11.-22.09.2022.
The main aim of the youth exchange is to introduce the Estonian culture and language to international participants who are:
📍 18-30 years old;
📍 with Estonian roots;
📍 have lived at least 10 years abroad.
This year’s program will cover some of the most culturally & naturally richest places in Estonia. Travelling through the Eastern part of Estonia we will reach Setomaa – Tartu – Ida-Virumaa – Tallinn.
We promise you: new friendships, interesting historical facts about Estonia, opportunities to check out beautiful Estonian nature, practice traditions, taste cuisine, visit interesting museums, centers of political life of Estonia and even meet other fellow Roots-people from past years that have moved to Estonia to live here!
The youth exchange programme is organized by the youth organization Seiklejate Vennaskond, coordinated by Estonian Education and Youth Board and financed by the Compatriots Programme of the Estonian Ministry of Education and Research.
