BES Christmas party – December 11th at 3:30 p.m.
(Nordic Hall at the Scandinavian Cultural Center, 206 Waltham Street, West Newton, MA)
We are pleased to announce that we can celebrate Christmas together again. The program includes a traditional blood sausage Christmas dish, a performance by BES schoolchildren and, of course, a Christmas lottery. The service of the Christmas Church will take place separately via Zoom and a separate notice will be sent. It is also rumored that Santa Claus (Jõuluvana) promised to visit, regardless of whether it is snowing or not!
The traditional bloodsausages (verivorstid) were made by BES members and friend on November 26th and will be served up with potatoes and sauerkraut. Feel free to bring your own wine or beer. The usual non-alcoholic drinks will also be available.
As always, dessert is potluck style, please bring a sweet dish to share!

Christmas meal for children (9-17 years) and seniors – $15
Children under 9 years of age – free
We ask that everyone please respect others and wear a mask if necessary!
