Connecticut Estonian Society Estonian land (Eesti maa) spring cleanup (Talgud) day and Annual General Meeting will be held on June 10, 2023, 8:30 am.
Starting at 8:30 AM – The Eesti Maa spring cleanup day will be on Saturday, June 10th (rain date June 11th) at the Eesti maa, 25 Times Road, Andover, CT 06232. The Eesti maa cleanup will be directed by Kristian Kõiva, Eesti maa manager.
Please bring along necessary tools – rakes, shovels, saws, leaf blowers, hedge clippers, work gloves, etc. But in case you lack such tools, come anyway because tools are always available.
Build-your-own sandwich items will be available and supplied by Kristi Rakfeldt. Sandwiches and hot coffee will be served for lunch!
Following the cleanup day activities and lunch, the Connecticut Estonian Society (CES) will hold its Annual General Meeting at 12:30 p.m., June 10, 2023, at the same place.
Based upon the CES Constitution and Bylaws, the annual general meeting will be held at 12:30 p.m. on June 10, 2023, at the Eesti maa, 25 Times Road, Andover, CT 06232.
If by 12:30 p.m., a quorum of the total CES membership is not present, the meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m., regardless of the number of members present. Only dues-paying members of CES are allowed to vote at this meeting, but all others are welcome to attend.
In the case of rain, the meeting will take place on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at 12:30 p.m. If by 12:30 p.m., a quorum of the total CES membership is not present, the meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m., regardless of the number of members present. You are welcome to bring your lawn chairs for more comfortable sitting.
