On Saturday, September 29, 2012, the Estonian American National Council will celebrate its 60th anniversary with a special Gala. Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves will join over 200 dignitaries, EANC members, Estonian-Americans and other well-wishers for a memorable evening at the Willard InterContinental Hotel, steps from the White House in the heart of downtown Washington DC.
The commemoration will honor not only the work of EANC and recipients of EANC awards, but will also celebrate Estonia’s hardwon independence and tremendous economic success since 1991.
The EANC invites all to enjoy an evening recognizing achievements of Estonian Americans, together with fine dining and dancing to live music! Tickets are $150 per person until August 15. After that, the price will be $175. A portion of the gala proceeds will benefit Estonian American scouts, girl guides, and the Long Island children’s summer camp.
You can show your support for EANC and its mission by placing an ad in the printed Gala program, which will be widely distributed. Ad prices range from $50 for a small individual greeting to $500 for a prominently placed full page ad. In addition, sponsorship packages are available at many different levels. For details, contact Linda Rink, EANC’s Executive Director, at (215) 546-5863, or by email at [email protected]. More information is also available at EANC’s website, www.estosite.org.
