Exhibition “Estonia Through 100 Pairs of Eyes” in San Francisco
The travelling exhibition and accompanying book “Estonia Through 100 Pairs of Eyes”, completed for Estonia’s centenary, has now reached San Francisco. It tells the story of Estonia through the portrait photographs and stories of one hundred Estonians, aged 100 to 1 year old, living in Estonia and abroad. The exhibition is open Mon.-Fri. from 9 to 5 at the World Affairs Council auditorium until the end of June.
Voting Abroad for the European Parliamentary Elections
On May 26, 2019, European Parliamentary elections will take place in Estonia. In the United States, an Estonian citizen may vote locally at an Estonian foreign representation (see specific times in the article on page 2) or online before May 26. You can vote online 24 hours a day from May 16 until May 22, 2019 at 18:00 or 6 pm (Estonian time) via the website www.valimised.ee. Make sure you have a functioning ID-card reader or working mobile ID and updated software.
ESTO Festival Bringing the National Congress to Estonia for the First Time
The tradition of the ESTO National Congress, born within the framework of the global Estonian culture days, will take place in Estonia for the first time this summer and everyone interested in the topics up for discussion is welcome to come listen and have their say. The congress will take place on July 2 from 9:00 to 17:00 at Tallinn’s Tellikivi loomelinnak.
