ERR News – A few weeks after British billionaire Richard Branson made an 18.5-million-euro investment into the Estonian-founded business Transfer-Wise, Äripäev reported that Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen has invested in 3D Control Systems, which also has Estonian roots.
The company, which has its R&D center in Tallinn, is developing cloud technology for 3D printing, allowing easier access to 3D printers around the world.
CEO John Dogru told Äripäev on Friday that the sum is confidential, but will allow the company to accelerate its growth.
The company was founded by Estonians Taavi Kikas and Anton Vedeshin, and Dogru, a United States citizen.
