Tramlines 1 and 3 have been stopped for the month in Tallinn and since lines 2 and 4 were already out of commission for repairs, the capital will not see another tram on its streets before the end of the month.
The stop allows the city’s transport department to renovate the Viru intersection among other track sections.
A replacement bus number 42 will run from Kopli to the beginning of Peterburi road, near Ülemiste.
Tallinn’s tramlines are in need of renovation as city recently purchased new trams which are heavier than the Soviet-era museum pieces.
