A wonderful tradition, initiated more than a decade ago by a respected member of the Lakewood Estonian community, Mr Priit Parming, was well attended by New Jersey Estonians, Latvians, Lithuanians. Although it was a day of celebration, the ongoing brutal war in Ukraine was mentioned in all of the speeches. The Estonian Consul General, Mr. Arvo Anton emphasized in his remarks that during these turbulent times Baltic cooperation is as important as ever, underlining that Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania have been the most dedicated supporters of Ukraine and that the outcome of the war will shape the future of Europe and the World.
